A: It depends on which direction you are coming from. If traveling to Provo from southern Utah take Hwy 189 (University Avenue in Provo) which will take you North to Provo Canyon. Bridal Veil Falls is about 10 miles from Center street, this is a great photo opportunity and rest area, after which you'll drive through a tunnel and then turn west or left onto Hwy 92. You're almost there with only a couple more miles to go. If traveling from Salt Lake City on I-15, take Orem's 800 North exit traveling east to Provo Canyon. From Park City and Heber Valley area take Hwy 40 to Hwy 189, if you've made it through the tunnel you missed the turn, watch for Hwy 92 and turn west (your right) just before the tunnel.

A: Brigham Young University is located north of Historic Downtown Provo. Lavell Edwards Stadium is very noticable from University Avenue (Hwy 189) and University Parkway. The campus can also be accessed on 1230 North (Bulldog Blvd.).

A: The McCurdy Doll Museum has been a long standing tradition for some families and to find the doors closed is quite a surprise. The museum shut its doors a few years ago due to a long overwaited retirement for the musuem's founders. Currently we are awaiting the announcement of its new location.

A: Summer daily maximum temperatures in June and July are 85.7EF to 92.5EF, with median daily temperatures at 69.6EF to 76.2EF. Evening temperatures can drop significantly and usually stay in the 50EF range. I'd suggest bringing a jacket or sweatshirt for evening activities and for the below average days. If your plans include camping it's definitely a must.

A: Utah Valley is lucky to have several options for exploring the area by automobile. Some of the more common drives are the Alpine Loop, Hobble Creek, Provo Canyon, and Nebo Loop Scenic Byway (a National America's Byway's listing).
