Sundance is a year-round mountain community at the base of 12,000 ft. Mount Timpanogos in the north fork of Provo Canyon. Day visitors and overnight guests at Sundance Ski Resort enjoy skiing, dining, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, art workshops, concerts, shopping and more in the 6,000 acre Robert Redford Sundance resort amid incredibly beautiful mountain scenery.

 

 

Sundance Outdoor Theater

 Mt. Timpanogos serves as a backdrop for evening performances under the stars during the summers at Sundance. This beautiful ampihitheater surrounds the stage and provides a wonderful view of not only the stage and performers but also the magnificent backdrop of Mount Timpanogos. Sundance's Cross Country Center/Snowshoeing

Sundance offers the rare combination of a pristine back country experience, immaculate wide groomed trails, and separate snowshoe trails. A full 26 kilometers of daily groomed trails are available for skating and classic skiing. Snowshoers can explore our terrain on 10 kilometers of dedicated trails through the woods. The Cross Country center is a full service facility with rentals and new demo equipment available for all ages and abilities. Coaching sessions for all levels available daily.

Art Shack

The Art Shack invites everyone from the novice to the accomplished artist to explore their creative side with art workshops in photography, painting, drawing, pottery and jewelry making. Art work is for sale in the Gallery.

Hiking

Under winter's snow lies some of the finest hiking on earth. Enjoy this terrain hiking with friends or by joining one of the several guided hikes. Terrain ranges from a flat path through a glen of aspen to near vertical rocky slopes, guaranteed to please hikers.

Ski Lift Rides

Enjoy scenic lift rides that offer a panoramic view of the mountain as you glide to the top of Ray's Summit. After enjoying the impressive views during the lift ride on your way to the summit, take the opportunity to explore the mountain landscape. Venture off on some of our designated hiking trails or just sit and enjoy the mountain's tranquil beauty. The lift will be waiting to transport you to the base where you can enjoy lunch in the Foundry Grill or a light snack in the Sundance Deli. The scenic lift ride makes for a truly memorable experience and offers the perfect opportunity to allow the mountain to work its magic. Also for a special treat, Sundance offers  

Horseback Riding

In summer, view Sundance by horseback. Tours with Rocky Mountain Outfitters to nearby Elk Meadows and Stewart Falls, leave daily and offer a distinctive look at Utah's terrain.
